Wonderbra donates 4,000 bras for Mayo bra chain

Mayo Cancer Support Association and Rock Chicks are to embark on the exciting challenge of attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest and highest bra chain. The chain, which must be in excess of 70 miles, will take a massive 120,000 bras to build, 4,000 of which are being donated by bra experts, Wonderbra.

A Christmas message from Mayo Cancer Support Association

Mayo Cancer Support Association, now in its ninth year, provides emotional support and practical help for people living with cancer, their families and friends. The services available are a wig fitting service, a bra/prosthesis fitting service and weekly support groups for cancer patients. The drop-in centre offers a professional listening service, information and professional counselling, aromatherapy, massage, reflexology and stress management. All services are free of charge and are available to family members or friends.

ARAMARK Ireland’s Cupcake Campaign will run from June 29 to July 4 where mouth-watering cupcakes will be on sale in ARAMARK Ireland sites throughout the country, and a percentage of each sale will go towards the ARAMARK Ireland Charitable Fund, which includes the Mayo Cancer Support Association.

The DeCare Dental fun run/road race

The DeCare Dental fun run/road race will be held on the streets of Claremorris on Saturday August 29 at 5pm. Registration will be from 3pm at the Dalton Inn. The entry fee is €15 and all proceeds will go to the Mayo Cancer Support Association.
